SCORE NYC is seeking experienced legal professionals to join our team of volunteer mentors and provide free, invaluable guidance to small business owners. Join us in empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs!
Role Overview:
We are particularly looking for legal experts who can assist small business owners with:
- Business formation: Advising on the best legal structures for both for-profit and non-profit organizations (LLCs, S-Corps, partnerships, etc.).
- Contracts and Agreements: Helping clients navigate contracts, leases, NDAs, employment agreements, and other essential business documents.
- Risk Management: Offering strategies to reduce litigation risks and ensure sound legal practices in business transactions.
