Would you like to help HIRTA collect information? Provide office type assistance? Become a HIRTA Helper!
We are now recruiting volunteers in Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story, and Warren counties to help collect survey responses and success stories. This information helps HIRTA educate the public and funders on the benefits of public transit. We also are looking for volunteers who would like to help with some office assistance, such as helping with mailing educational material to the community or helping come up with new ideas for education and marketing.
To become survey and success story collector HIRTA helper, we will work with your schedule to find a time you can ride the HIRTA bus and record riders' responses to questions while they ride. You can also collect responses via phone if you are looking for a virtual opportunity.
