Clue Fundraiser Gift Card Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: Friends of the Pima County Public Library
Please visit the new page to apply.
We are hosting our annual whodunnit fundraiser in August. We are needing a volunteer team to take small parts to make the whole much easier! Many hands make for less work for everyone.
This position is getting gift cards for the fundraiser, we use them for prize give-a-ways and this year (if we can get enough gift cards) we will have a Punch-a-bunch board for people to win cards as well!!
- Gift cards must be a min. of $25 value
- Can be from anywhere (department stores, restaurants)
- We need a min of 25 but would like 50+ gift cards!
This fundraiser helps raise awareness and funding for the Pima County Public Libraries through the Friends of the Pima County Public Libraries. If you think you can call or go to local businesses and collect gift cards for us (we must have them by August 1st) please contact me.

Description
The Friends of PCPL is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization founded in 1969 to raise funds for special and innovative library programs, equipment and services, which are not part of the normal annual budget. We accomplish this by raising funds through the sale of books, memberships, and grants. We have community book sales at our book barn at 2230 N. Country Club Road. We also sell books online year round and at retail spaces in fifteen libraries. Over the past 7 years, the Friends have provided over $1.5 million to The Pima County Public Library, making the acquisition and /or sponsorship of the following: Summer Reading Program, Tucson Writer’s Project, Project LIFT, Southwest Literature Project, Technology for Branches, Vehicles for outreach and servicing the branches, and hundreds of smaller and one-time projects. Please visit www.pimafriends.com to learn more about the benefits of becoming a Friend and the Donations and Volunteer pages to learn how you can help. Your donations of time and money will benefit present and future generations of library users
