We are seeking a culturally sensitive volunteer to support the Outreach Committee efforts. The Outreach Committee's mission is to oversee and coordinate all internal and external communication regarding CMLF Events. This position will require consistent communication within the organization in order to organize and share event information effectively.
Outreach Committee volunteers must have the below skills/abilities:
Very well organized and able to multitask
Strong verbal and written communication
Familiarity with website editing and digital tools
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Spanish language (preferred)
+ Essential Role Functions
Serve as primary liaison between the Outreach Committee and other departments
Create a line of communication with each department head and gather all event information
Assist in maintaining and updating calendar of events based on information gathered from each team on the following sites:
CMLF’s Website
LinkTree
TV Screens
Create an internal calendar of events to share with all CMLF
Research other organization’s outreach strategies for best practices
+ Education and Experience
Wordpress and Elementor experience preferred but not required. (Training will be provided)
Preferably, knowledge of brand reputation and communication strategies
Must be 16 years of age or older
+ Requirements
Must pass a criminal background check and an interview with the Outreach Committee
A personal computer (laptop or desktop) with an internet connection is required
Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred
+ Schedule
This is a hybrid volunteer position that has flexible scheduling and focuses on meeting objectives and deadlines

To provide culturally-competent support services to families in a holistic approach in order to improve their quality of life. We are a private, not-for-profit, mission-driven organization that provides comprehensive services to a diverse community. While most of the clients we serve now are of Latin descent, we strive to offer services to a broader cultural community. We are proud to be able to offer culturally and linguistically competent services in the areas of mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, victims of crime advocacy, parenting education, health education and promotion, wellness workshops, Exito Educativo and support and interpretation for pregnant women at St Joseph’s Women Center.
