The Lead Coach will lead the coaching team, ensuring that all program coaches operate at a high standard of professionalism and effectiveness. As a credentialed coach (e.g., ICF, CCE, or EMCC certified), the Head Coach will provide guidance to volunteer coaches, shape coaching frameworks, and utilize digital tools like Notion, Slack, and Canva to maintain a cohesive coaching approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee volunteer coaches, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to coaching standards across cohorts.
  • Utilize Notion to document coaching frameworks, maintain program resources, and track coaching outcomes.
  • Use Slack to facilitate real-time communication, address coaching questions, and keep the coaching team aligned and informed.
  • Leverage Canva to design and customize coaching resources, presentation slides, and visual aids for workshops, if needed.
  • Develop and lead workshops to build the skills and effectiveness of volunteer coaches.
  • Serve as the escalation point for coaching-related issues and implement solutions that align with program goals.
  • Regularly review and assess coaching quality and effectiveness, collecting feedback to improve practices.

Reports to: Program Director

Qualifications:

  • Active coaching certification (ICF, CCE, or EMCC) with at least 5 years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and coaching program management.
  • Strong communication skills and familiarity with Notion for documentation, Slack for team collaboration, and Canva for visual content creation.
  • Experience mentoring other coaches and fostering a positive coaching environment.
  • Ability to implement coaching strategies that align with organizational values and enhance participant experience.
  • Coachable demeanor.
