- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
United Hospice and Palliative Care of Arizona invites you to join our dedicated and compassionate team of pet therapy volunteers!
Team up with your pet (of any species!) to spend time socializing and providing inimitable animal companionship to our patients. Each visit not only has a tremendous impact on the physical and mental well-being of patients, but also offers the opportunity to make meaningful connections and a ripple a positivity in the community.
After completing orientation and training, volunteer teams will be assigned to a patient for scheduled visists. With patients located valley-wide, there is likely someone near you who would benefit greatly from the company of a pet therapy team. Additionally, flexibility within the program allows for volunteers to schedule visits to fit their availbility.
