We look very much forward to welcome you as a new member in out team, whereby we are aware that what we describe is a senior profile and, as such, probably not very suitable as a Volunteer opportunity. However, in the past we met also Volunteers who were not only looking for practical experiences but who decided to dedicate part of their time to something they believe deserves their dedication.

Museum With No Frontiers is a non-profit Organisation based in Europe. Our aim is to promote the use of art to facilitate mutual knowledge and better mutual understanding. In all MWNF projects, history and cultural heritage are presented by local experts from the country concerned and convey the country’s local perspective.

We are now looking for a backend officer who is ready to join our team for at least two years. No fix working hours but flexible organisation of working sessions. The following knowledge is requested:

Very good knowledge of PHP 7, MySQL 5 and web application development is required. Experience with the Laravel framework is an asset.

Experience in web application development to set up Application Programme Interfaces (API) for the development of a new Virtual Office. The purpose of this API is to combine and deliver suitable contents from the existing MySQL databases over a RestFUL webservice.

The candidate can count on advice by the person who administrates the databases.

A front-end developer is working in parallel on the new website's user interface.
