Join Leadership Long Beach for the 16th annual MLK Day of Service benefitting Long Beach! The event is hosted in partnership with California Volunteers, Office of the Governor, a statewide agency that engages Californians in service, volunteering, and civic action to tackle our State’s most pressing challenges while mobilizing all Californians to volunteer and serve in their communities.
This opportunity is hosted with the Los Cerritos Wetlands Authority and focuses on restoring the vital wetlands habitat. Volunteers will engage in planting native vegetation to help restore the ecosystem, with potential additional efforts to remove invasive species.
