Who We Are Looking For: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated volunteer to help a Haitian Creole-speaking individual in Seattle who is eager to improve her English. English is her second language, and she has been quite isolated due to limited opportunities for practice and communication. She lives independently with the support of her niece and is motivated to overcome challenges to gain more independence.

• Interests: Loves numbers, reading puzzles, and finding ways to keep her brain active
• Challenges: Limited social interaction, isolated activities

• Someone with a love for teaching and patience to help this individual learn and practice English
• A volunteer who can engage in creative ways to enhance her language skills, such as through puzzles, reading, and conversation
• A commitment to regular, supportive sessions to help her challenge herself and feel empowered
