YWCA Angeline’s Center for Homeless Women offers women a safe, warm, and welcoming environment. Our dedicated staff provides hot meals to women in need every single day- including holidays, but we can't do it alone. Angeline's is seeking volunteers to help make Christmas special for the women at Angeline's by decorating the dining room and providing table meal service.
Volunteers should be 16+ (with a legal guardian) and should be prepared to be on your feet! Volunteers will help decorate the dining room by placing table cloths and setting the tables, as well as some meal prep and delivering plates of food to the tables from the kitchen. This will be an active position.
Time frame is 1pm - 5pm December 25th
Volunteers are also welcome to plan/bring items for a craft or game for after the meal!
YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is the region’s largest non-profit organization with a 120+ year legacy, focused on the needs of women, with programs serving 7,000 people each year. When you volunteer with YWCA, you make a difference. We’re women and BIPOC-led, family-centered, and supportive of staff and volunteers. Put your passion for racial equity and social justice to work - apply today!
