Do you enjoy connecting with others and listening to their stories? Join us at Byron Health Center to help capture cherished memories from our residents! We’re looking for volunteers (18 and older) to sit down one-on-one or in small groups with residents, guiding them through questions like:
- "Tell me about your favorite pet."
- "What was your favorite job?"
- "What is a special memory that makes you smile?"
This is a wonderful opportunity to grow your communication and interpersonal skills, meet new people, and gain meaningful experiences. We’re seeking volunteers who can dedicate 30 minutes to an hour per visit, ideally returning a few times to build connections with residents and accurately translate their stories onto paper. You are able to come just once.
Help us preserve these precious memories for families to treasure-your time and kindness can make a lasting impact!
We are felixible with your schedule, please message Lydia to see where our schedules match up! LMartin@ByronHealth.org
