The Friends of the Broadway's mission is to renovate and preserve the historic Broadway Theater as a community venue for performances and activities which entertain, educate, and culturally enrich our community.
Description
The Broadway Theater in Mount Pleasant, MI is operated by the non-profit, Friends of the Broadway. It was purchased by the Friends of the Broadway for the purpose of preserving the historic theater and to make it available for performances and community events. The Broadway is home to two theatre troupes. The Broadway Players and The Broadway Playhouse Kids. The Broadway Playhouse Kids is open to kids who are in school and not over the age of 18. BPK does at least two shows a year and runs a camp in the summer.
