Seeking to fill Volunteer Campground Host positions from April1 - October 30 2025


Position(s) will staff the campground entrance station during assigned days performing check-ins and check-outs per arrival and departure of campers daily. Perform "rounds" of the park to observe campsite occupancy status, verify campers have valid reservations and have been properly checked-in, deliver hangtags, and answer questions from the park visitors. Efficiently operate computer and utilize Recreation 1-Stop website to check daily reservations, process check-ins/check outs. Issue Corps of Engineers Annual Passes when customer presents annual pass receipt purchased from Automated Pay Station. Provide information to park visitors. Volunteer Campground Hosts selected for this position will work and average of 24 hours per week, 4 Days On - 4 Days Off (6-hours per day).


Duties Include:

Park Booth operation, effective computer operation, utilization of Recreation 1-Stop for overnight camper check-ins/check-outs, inspect life jacket loaner stations at swim beaches, complete park rounds. Volunteer Campground Hosts will not collect fees or make reservations for customers. Volunteers are required to attend a 1 day orientation on 29 March 2024.
