Table Rock Lake-Moonshine Beach (May-Sept 2025)

ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

· Nestled in the middle of the Ozark Mountains, Table Rock Lake’s is a major destination. Moonshine Beach is the largest beach at Table Rock and is regularly filled to capacity on weekends. Volunteers will assist Rangers with monitoring the parking lot, assisting guests with use of the automated fee machine, and answering guest questions, willingness to provide water safety education to the public is a plus. Other duties will include up to 3 hours of spot check trash pickup on Wednesdays, UTV will be provided. Target schedule of Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 9:30am-12:30pm, 1:30pm-4:30pm and 3 hours on Wednesdays (non-scheduled time).

The surrounding area is a recreation paradise for fishing, hunting, hiking, caving or just plain being out in nature. Branson, MO is situated within a day’s drive of 50% of the U.S. population, and receives up to 65,000 visitors daily. Known as the "Live Entertainment Capitol of the World" with over 30 live shows daily. Local attractions are sure to fulfill your need for thrill rides and live shows. Summers can be hot and humid at times and spring/fall is mainly mild but can occasionally experience below freezing temperatures and inclement weather.

SCHEDULE:

- Arrive by the second week of May so orientation training can be given be prior to opening.

- Depart sometime around or after Labor Day.

- Hours: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 1:30-4:30pm, and 3 hours on Wednesday (unscheduled).

- Average of 15 hours per week per person.

- Lodging assistance is not provided. Two full hook-up campsites (30/50 amp) are available free of charge for service. State which type of RV you will provide (Class A/B/C, fifth wheel, camper trailer...etc). Shower and laundry facilities are not provided.

- Work/Volunteer Experience: List previous work/volunteer experiences, dates, and primary duties for all applying. For teams of two, you can specify individual experiences.
