ENGAGE: Christmas Event for Ukrainian Refugee Children

Join the Slavic Refugee and Immigrant Services Organisation for their Christmas event, which is put together for Ukrainian families to feel and share the Christmas spirit.

This event needs enthusiastic volunteers to help make it special for kids. They will need assistance with craft stations, face painting, games, and more. If you are interested in giving back to the community and spreading holiday cheer, they would love to have your help.

If volunteers have any other ideas or skills that can be contributed to the event, they are open to all kinds of support.

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

Attire: Christmas clothes and costumes are recommended, along with a jacket for the chilly evening. This opportunity takes place both indoors and outdoors.

Bring: If volunteers have games that can be played with outside, they are encouraged to bring them.

Physical Requirements: Light lifting such as carrying a decorated Christmas tree and tables. Unfortunately this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations, but the space where this project takes place is wheelchair accessible.
