Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide access to menstrual products for those affected by period poverty through distribution, education, and advocacy for menstrual equity.

Description

For Women By Women, Period in March of 2021. This amazing team was originally formed by Carrington Baker at St. John's University. A group of students joined to fight period poverty and change the stigma surrounding menstruation within different cultures and for all generations. FWBW. team members consist of multiple backgrounds, allowing us to understand a wide variety of menstruators. Along with providing hygiene products for those in need, we also want to create a safe environment for all generations to talk about their periods and have access to better education on menstruation. Since our start in 2021, we have distributed 250,000 menstrual hygiene products in NYC!
