Peer Facilitator For Grief Support Groups
ORGANIZATION: Mary Washington Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
Mary Washington Grief Support Services is looking for volunteers to serve as peer facilitators for complimentary grief support groups.
A peer facilitator helps others by offering emotional support and guidance. Facilitators use their life experiences to help relate to others facing similar circumstances.
Support groups are a safe space and peer facilitators help cultivate an environment where group participants share their experience of grief. We require peer facilitators to attend training provided by Mary Washington Grief Support Services. You will need to pass a criminal background check.
Groups are provided at no cost to the individual.
