Mission Statement

Citizens For Radioactive Radon Reduction is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization with a purpose to assist, encourage, and prepare advocates in making a difference with awareness, education and action against radioactive radon gas exposure. We effectively educate the public and private sectors about the real danger of living, working, or attending school in environments with elevated levels of radon gas and its lung cancer affects.

Description

Citizens for Radioactive Radon Reduction (CR3) is the leading radon "grassroots" nonprofit committed to strengthening communities by educating and empowering young people, health care, schools, organizations, and legislators about the dangers of living and breathing high levels of radon gas and its lung cancer affects. We work with various entities to inspire action in and across communities.

Our initiatives include:

- CR3 News Magazine: dedicated to radon and lung cancer. https://newsstand.joomag.com/en/cr3-news-magazine/M0059337001468180382
- Premier Youth Ambassadors for Radon Reduction (PYA) that develops young adults from across the country who have a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to their communities regarding radon gas testing, mitigation, and education. https://radonreimagined.org
- CRCPD Radon Poster Contest Calendar - https://joom.ag/ybNd/p4
- CLEHR Network: A repository of health and environmental information.

We promote our members and partner organizations in their efforts by adding our strong radon advocacy piece. CR3 has an all-volunteer working board that brings value and resources to the table. The board is made up of Radon, Cancer Survivors and healthcare professionals.
