You are invited to join our Community Science Program for monitoring rare cactus wrens in our preserves!
Why: Help monitor the charismatic and rare cactus wrens in our preserves.
Who: The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) preserves land and restores habitats for the education and enjoyment of all.
What to Expect: This will be an annual program to track the birds, their nests, and their success in rearing babies.
What's Required:
16 years and up, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
