Perkins School for the Blind mission is to help children with disabilities find their place in the world. We are seeking support for our student holiday concert Dec 12. Support may involve wayfinding support as human guides helping those with visual impairments find the concert, snacks, restrooms as well as other activity support such as handing out programs and helping with crowd flow. No prior human guide experience required, but we will ask that you watch a brief 10 minute training video before you arrive.

Perkins is building a world where people with complex disabilities and visual impairments can learn and thrive in Watertown and around the world. Support us with your talents! One-time and repeat in-person and remote opportunities available. Contact volunteers@perkins.org to learn more. We are seeking carpenters, gardeners, support for filing, library stacks support, tutors, videographers, student center support, classroom buddies and more.
