Volunteer Role: ReStore Marketing Volunteer
* Duration: Minimum of three months
* Location: Visit One ReStore three times a week at a location closest to you.

Habitat for Humanity GTA is greater Toronto’s most recognized provider and advocate of solutions that tackle our region’s housing crisis. Our mission is to create a world where everyone has a safe, quality place to live. We focus on creative solutions to address the affordable housing crisis in Toronto, Brampton, Caledon, York Region and Durham Region. With the help of volunteers, donors and community partners, we unlock change for generations by bringing the benefits of home ownership to more people and communities. Habitat GTA is growing. We are an innovative, entrepreneurial social enterprise that has been
increasing our capacity for impact every year. Together, we are building a better, more inclusive GTA for everyone.

Position Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation:
* Develop engaging and visually appealing content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter, and LinkedIn.
* Film, create, and edit videos and graphics that align with Habitat ReStore’s mission and brand.
Social Media Management:
* Schedule and publish posts using tools such as Hootsuite or Later.
* Monitor accounts and engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and
inquiries promptly.
Campaign Support:
* Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote events, sales, and
initiatives.
* Collaborate on influencer partnerships, community outreach, and special events.
Analytics and Reporting:
* Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate content performance.
* Prepare reports on engagement and growth and suggest improvements.
Market Research:
* Research social media trends, best practices, and competitors to inform strategies.
* Identify potential collaborations, partnerships, and influencer engagement opportunities.
Community Engagement:
* Share stories, testimonials, and success stories to highlight Habitat ReStore’s impact.
* Support outreach to local influencers and community leaders to enhance brand visibility.
Administrative Tasks:
* Maintain content calendars and organize digital asset libraries.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

Qualifications & Skills
Skills:
* Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Canva,
etc.).
* Basic knowledge of analytics and reporting tools.
* Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
Attributes:
* Passion for social media and digital marketing.
* Creative mindset with innovative ideas.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
