Cats Pawjamas, a small cat and kitten rescue, needs a volunteer, or volunteers, to transport cats and kittens to The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City to be fixed. The address is 5445 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, KS.
There is some flexibility on day of the week, but they MUST arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 am and pickup is after 3pm but must be before 4:00pm.
The cats will be picked up (and delivered back to) NE Olathe. The volunteer must have their own transportation able to safely hold 5-6 19" cat carriers.
Transportation is usually needed no more than twice a month.

Mission Statement
We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming tame cats and kittens facing death due to euthanasia, illness or homelessness. We provide home environments while the cats and kittens are waiting to find their permanent families.
Description
Cats Pawjamas is a small, 501(c)3, all volunteer, foster-based cat and kitten rescue. We focus on rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens facing death due to illness or euthanasia.
Almost all of these cats and kittens require medical intervention prior to adoption. We prepare these cats and kittens, both physically and mentally, to be adopted into loving homes.
We "opened our doors in May of 2020". We found homes for almost 50 cats the first year and have been growing steadily. We are on target to find homes for about 130 cats and kittens in 2023.
We do not have a "Brick and Mortar" facility. Our cats and kittens are healed and raised by one of about 6 families. More than half of our admissions are transferred from an open admission shelter where they receive very little medical care and are at risk of euthanasia.
