Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers in the downriver area (Taylor, Southgate, etc). We are looking for individuals willing to spend 1-3 hours per month, 2x a month with an individual in the downriver area. Time spent will be used for companionship, reading, singing, caregiver relief and other activities. Most patients are located in a senior living facility, while others are at home. Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
