Special Olympics Powerlifting Volunteers Needed
ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics PA
Please visit the new page to apply.
Experience the joy of Special Olympics as a volunteer with our powerlifting team in Montgomery County!
Under the leadership of a head coach, help to guide and encourage Special Olympics athletes as they practice in the sport of Powerlifting. Experience in powerlifting is helpful but not necessary - we can provide training! We currently have a large shortage of assistant coaches for powerlifting, and will not be able to run this site without additional support.
Practice takes place in Royersford at the Spring Valley YMCA. Practice is Fridays from 6:30 - 8.
Powerlifting doesn't start until summer 2025 and it runs until November, but if you want to get started earlier we invite interested volunteers to join us in one of our spring sports so that you can get to know Special Olympics before the powerlifting season starts.
