On Saturday, March 29th 2025, we will be hosting the Be My Neighbor Day Block Party at our studios. It will be a free community event to celebrate kindness and caring neighbors. There will be fun for all ages with many activities and opportunities to see behind-the-scene work at WEDU PBS.
We need volunteers to help make the day successfull for our community. The event will take place March 29th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1300 N. Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607.
Volunteers are needed from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be provided with meals and light snacks. They will be assigned to indoor or outdoor locations throughout the studios, offering support as needed. We welcome and greatly appreciate volunteers of all numbers.
Volunteers must be 16 or older, and if you'd like to earn community service hours, just bring your form for us to sign!

WEDU is the primary PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) affiliate for west central Florida, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota counties. We are also affiliated with the FPBS (Florida Public Broadcasting Service) and the Association of America's Public Television Stations.
