Join us to serve your community during the 2025 MLK Day of Service. We will be building a healthy urban forest at Hilltop Park in Burien by spreading woodchip mulch and removing weedy plants. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, leg and arm coverings. We will have extra rainboots for participants to use during the event. The Green Burien Partnership began in 2018 as a collaborative effort to restore Burien's forested parks. As a Green Burien volunteer, you will help create healthy forests within our city by removing weeds, planting native plants, and tending to native plants by mulching/watering.
