We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated volunteer to assist an elderly participant who is over the age of 90, located in Seattle, WA (ZIP code 98109).

About the Participant:

• Alert and oriented to self, place, and people.
• Short-term memory impairment.
• Fluent in German, also understands and can speak English.
• Enjoys listening to music and watching TV.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and engage in conversations, particularly in German, to help with memory stimulation.
• Share music and TV shows that she enjoys enhancing her daily activities.
• Assist with any light activities, offering comfort and social interaction.
• Be patient and understanding, providing a supportive and positive environment.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Experience working with elderly individuals is a plus but not required.
