We are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to help lead a 13-week Digital Skills for Life Class designed to empower individuals with essential basic computer skills. Whether you are an experienced educator, tech enthusiast, or someone who simply enjoys helping others learn, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in your community

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in teaching basic computer skills to participants with little to no experience.
  • Help guide students through lessons on using computers, the internet, word processing, and email.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
  • Foster a welcoming, patient, and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Help with lesson preparations and classroom setup as needed.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure smooth class operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A basic understanding of computers, internet, and Google suites
  • Good communication skills and patience.
  • A willingness to assist and work with diverse groups of learners.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required.
  • Reliable and committed to the full duration of the program (13 weeks).
