Agency Vehicle Maintenance

ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities Atlanta

Volunteers will assist Refugee Services staff in maintaining the condition of CCA Vehicles. Typical responsibilities include; checking the vehicle for needed tire changes, oil changes, gas and completing logs of said maintenance. Volunteers will also assist with detailing and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicles. Volunteers may also take vehicles to designated auto shops for additional maintenance.

Availability:

  • Volunteers will ideally complete maintenance on Thursdays, biweekly, early mornings (7:00am)

Qualifications:

  • Appreciation for working with diverse cultures and communities
  • A committed, dependable, and adaptable personality
  • Experience with vehicle maintenace
  • Reliable transportation

Volunteers must complete the agency application process, which includes a background check, application forms and safety training, as well as a new volunteer orientation.
