Join Leadership Long Beach for the 16th annual MLK Day of Service benefitting Long Beach! This year, in partnership with California Volunteers, Office of the Governor, a statewide agency that engages Californians in service, volunteering, and civic action to tackle our State’s most pressing challenges while mobilizing all Californians to volunteer and serve in their communities.
This opportunity is hosted with Love Beyond Limits at the Freeman Community Center and focuses on building a vibrant community garden for the neighborhood. Volunteers will assist with assembling garden beds, planting, and preparing the area, creating a lasting resource for education, connection, and nourishment.
