Coordinator for volunteer drivers helping cancer patients - Greater Nashville

Volunteers with the American Cancer Society's Road To Recovery program drive cancer patients with limited or no transportation to and from treatment appointments.
A coordinator is needed to assist ACS with connecting more rides and volunteers. This coordinator works with other volunteers and a staff partner to:
- Answer questions from volunteer drivers about the program and scheduling tool
- Welcome new drivers
- Review rides needing volunteers and contact drivers who haven't helped recently and/or may be available.
- Communicating with staff partner
- Optionally, help recruit more volunteer drivers.
The time commitment is flexible per volunteer, approximately an hour a week.
Coordinating includes e-mailing, calling, and texting volunteer drivers regarding the Road To Recovery program.
