The DCR Universal Access Program offers adaptive skating programs each winter from November through March. These skating programs provide adaptive equipment, modifications, and staff instruction and support to get people of all abilities out on the ice in whatever way works best for them.

A variety of volunteer roles are available during a session. You may be wearing street
shoes or ice skates and will likely be assigned a specific role. Jobs include:
equipment setup and pack up, helping people put on yak trax and ice skates,
fitting helmets properly, assisting people in getting on or off the ice, and/ or
interacting with skaters on the ice.
