Volunteer Positions Available:
- Disaster Cycle Services:
- Duty Officer (Remote): Coordinate responses to local emergencies.
- Disaster Action Team (In-Person): Provide immediate assistance to those affected by disasters.
- Community Disaster Preparedness Presenter (In-Person): Deliver preparedness presentations to the community.
- Disaster Health Services (License Required): Provide assistance and healthcare to clients during a disaster.
- Disaster Mental Health (License Required): Provide assistance and mental-health care to clients during a disaster.
- Disaster Spiritual Care (License Required): Provide assistance and spiritual care to clients during a disaster.
- Shelter Worker (In-Person): Help manage shelters during disasters.
- Disaster Emergency Supplies (In-Person): Distribute essential supplies during disasters.
- Blood Services:
- Kitting and Warehouse Assistant (In-Person): Assemble totes and pack boxes for shipment to blood drives or donor centers.
- Transportation Specialist: Be the critical link between blood donors and recipients by delivering blood, platelets, or other blood products to a hospital.
- Medical Screener: Support blood collection operation by performing regulated medical screening of potential blood donors.*Required:(2)4-hourshifts/month;6-month commitment, and 3 weeks of training (virtual, in-person)
- Blood Donor Ambassador (In-Person): Greet and register blood donors at donation sites.
- Volunteer Services:
- Community Outreach Volunteer (In-Person): be the face of the Red Cross and represent during outreach events (i.e. student fairs, health fairs, etc.).
- Volunteer Screner (Virtual): Support the team by matching volunteers' interest with the needs of the Red Cross
- Operations:
- Administrative/Operations Support : Provide essential behind-the-scenes support to keep operations running smoothly.
