The volunteer opportunities at Pal-O-Mine Equestrian offers hands-on experience across community based, macro, mezzo, and micro levels. Volunteers engage with diverse clients, spanning various ages, abilities, and needs. Services are customized, with personalized teams addressing individual goals and requirements.
The volunteer may:
Sidewalk with clients assisting the SLPs and OTs with activities, games, and lessons on horseback.
Positioning the client and their equipment as required by the SLPs and OTs.
Supervising and assisting during the unmounted portions of the sessions.

Pal-O-Mine Equestrian began in 1995 as a therapeutic horseback riding program for individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations. Our mission has been, and continues to be, to provide a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing. Our populations include children and adults with disabilities, survivors of trauma, the military and the impoverished.

Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, Inc. is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing a comprehensive therapeutic equine program that uses horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing. Their population includes children and adults with disabilities, those who have been abused or neglected, veterans and the economically compromised. Incorporated in 1996 and recognized as a 501(c)(3) in 1997, Pal-O-Mine was founded by and is still directed by Lisa Gatti.
