Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer bookkeeper to help manage and maintain the financial records of our organization. This role is critical in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance with our financial processes, enabling us to maximize our impact.

Time Commitment:

Flexible, with an estimated commitment of 10-15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

· Record and maintain financial transactions using QuickBooks, Excel, Tithely and PayPal

· Prepare and reconcile monthly financial reports.

· Track donations, grants, and expenses to ensure proper allocation of funds.

· Assist with preparing budgets and financial statements.

· Ensure compliance with non-profit financial regulations.

· Collaborate with the team to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

· Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field (formal training preferred but not required).

· Familiarity with financial software or tools (QuickBooks, Excel, or similar).

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial data.

· Passion for supporting community initiatives and making a difference.
