Greeting volunteers! We are seeking some extra hands to support our upcoming Holiday market this Friday. Please read below:

The market is on December 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with setup beginning at 9:00 AM. We will have approximately 35 vendors and nonprofits participating. Below is a comprehensive breakdown of the shifts and duties for each volunteer role:

    • Responsibilities: Setting up booths, tables, chairs, signage, and assisting vendors with unloading.
    • Volunteers Needed: 6
  2. Parking Assistants (9:00 AM - 1:30 PM for Setup, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM for Shift)

    • Responsibilities: Directing vendors and guests to parking areas, ensuring smooth traffic flow.
    • Volunteers Needed: 4 (Shift 1), 2 (Shift 2)
  3. Welcome & Information Team (Shift 1: 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Shift 2: 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM)

    • Responsibilities: Greeting attendees, providing maps and event information, and directing them to booths.
    • Volunteers Needed: 3 per shift
  4. Vendor Assistance (Shift 1: 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Shift 2: 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM)

    • Responsibilities: Checking in with vendors, assisting with setup needs, and addressing requests.
    • Volunteers Needed: 4 per shift
  5. Floaters (Shift 1: 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Shift 2: 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM)

    • Responsibilities: Filling in wherever needed, ensuring all areas are covered.
    • Volunteers Needed: 2 per shift
  6. Clean-Up Crew (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

    • Responsibilities: Assisting with packing up vendor booths and cleaning the venue.
    • Volunteers Needed: 8
