By guiding your mentees to become "market-ready," you'll equip them with the practical skills and confidence needed to shape their futures. Together, we can inspire and uplift the next generation of leaders.
About the Program
Our mentorship program empowers Afghan girls by:
- Guiding them through the process of applying for scholarships to high schools, universities, and certification programs abroad.
- Equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue remote job opportunities in a competitive global workforce.
Prerequisites
We are seeking professionals who:
- Possess expertise in their field and a strong understanding of the current job market and higher education pathways.
- Demonstrate empathy for the challenges faced by women in Afghanistan.
- Are deeply committed to making a tangible, positive impact in the lives of others.
Commitment
Mentoring Time: One hour of mentoring per week.
Preparation Time: Two additional hours to review mentees’ progress and report to the Victory Afghanistan Team.
Resources: All mentors will receive training from the Victory Afghanistan team before the program begins
Requirements: Fluency in English.
Timeline
Start Date: 2nd week of January 2025
End Date: 3rd week of May 2025

Mission Statement
Victory Afghanistan's mission is to bridge the educational gap and create remote learning opportunities for girls in Afghanistan, offering them a path to continue their education despite the barriers they face. Victory Afghanistan stands firm and determined that no girl is left behind in her pursuit of knowledge and education. Through our interactive remote English, and mentoring classes, our aim is to equip these young women full of potential with the language and life skills to build the foundation needed to unlock a world of online education and remote work opportunities.
Description
In September 2021, girls in Afghanistan above the 6th grade were banned from attending school. According to UNICEF, 80% of Afghan girls and young women, approximately 2.5 million individuals, are now out of school, with nearly 30% never having had the opportunity to begin primary education. This situation has confined many to a life of domesticity, robbing them of the chance to reach their full potential.
In response to two years of learning loss and the increasing isolation of women and girls in Afghanistan, a group of four Afghan women from around the world founded Victory Afghanistan in July 2023CAUSE AREAS
