Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to join our team. This critical role supports the mission of Legacy Lives Here Inc. by securing funding to sustain and expand our programs, such as the RiseUp Wealth Summit, Operation: Toys4Kids, and youth empowerment initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Research and identify potential funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and charitable contributions.

- Develop compelling and customized grant proposals aligned with funders’ requirements and our mission.

- Collaborate with the program team to gather relevant data and materials to support grant applications.

- Maintain a calendar of submission deadlines and manage timely submission of grant applications and reports.

- Build and nurture relationships with foundations, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.

- Work closely with the leadership team to align grant opportunities with organizational priorities.

Qualifications:

- Strong written communication skills with an ability to craft persuasive and engaging proposals.

- Experience in grant writing or nonprofit fundraising is preferred but not required.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
