Description

We will primarily be looking for volunteers to help organize and staff events in Ben Lomond, such as neighborhood cleanups, native plant plantings, holiday events, and summer events in the park.

We are also looking to fill the following positions:

Infrastructure Committee Director - Leads efforts to enhance the physical environment and aesthetic appeal of Ben Lomond. This position involves collaborating with local residents and officials to identify and implement design improvements and leading initiatives to help preserve our historical and cultural heritage.

Volunteer Graphic Designer - There are a few graphic design needs such as designing elements for the new BLVA website and helping to develop its general look and feel. We're looking for someone who can create visually appealing materials for campaigns, events, and digital platforms. Ongoing, this role helps maintain the BLVA brand identity in all communications with the community.

Volunteer Bookkeeper - We are looking for a volunteer with accounting/bookkeeping experience to help get the BLVA books up and running, organize its financial records, assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and tracking donations and expenses. This position ensures financial transparency and supports the overall financial health of BLVA.

Nonprofit Lawyer - Seeking occasional legal counsel to ensure the organization's operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations. This role includes drafting and reviewing contracts, bylaws, and other legal documents, and advising on matters such as intellectual property, liability, and other nonprofit issues.

Fundraising Committee Chair - Leads the Fundraising Committee in developing and executing strategies to secure the financial resources necessary to support BLVA's mission and projects. This position involves setting fundraising goals, campaigns, and donor engagement activities, and building relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and community partners. The Chair will work closely with the Board of Directors and other committees to align fundraising efforts with the organization's goals and ensure a sustainable financial future for BLVA.
