ORGANIZATION: York West Active Living Centre (YWALC)

Here is your opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older adults and give back to the community.

York West Active Living Centre (YWALC) is a non-profit community-based resource centre for persons 55 years of age and older residing in the City of Toronto. YWALC’s mission is to promote, encourage and support healthy, independent living through a wide range of health and wellness programs, educational workshops, and multicultural activities.

Our Centre is a member-based organization that is governed by a Board of Directors, all of whom are volunteers and/or members of the Centre.YWALC is currently looking to fill two vacant positions from the community. Positions to be fill include but not limited to the follow skill set:

  • Fundraising
  • Legal

Your commitment is approximately 5 hours per month for a two year term with the potential for re-election. It's hybrid/flexible schedule.
