Project Overview: We are seeking a dedicated volunteer with direct experience in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and Microsoft Access to assist in designing and creating a database for our program. This is a finite project expected to start in January and last for approximately three months. (8h a week) The role is remote, with bi-weekly meetings on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team to understand the program's data requirements and workflows.
  • Design and develop a Microsoft Access database to support our program's backend operations.
  • Ensure the database is user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.
  • Provide documentation and training on how to use the new database.
  • Attend bi-weekly remote meetings on Wednesdays to discuss progress and address any issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with RDBMS and Microsoft Access.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
