Please visit the new page to apply.
Dinner Shift at FCRSPCA is 7 days a week from 4:00-6:00pm. We strive to have 2-3 volunteers per shift. Responsiblities include:
- Feeding the dogs
- Providing adequate yard time
- Administering medications when necessary
- Cleaning kennels
- Laundering dirty blankets/towels
- Washing dishes
- Cleaning the yard
- Providing enrichment for the dogs
We currently need regular volunteers for Thursday and Saturday Dinner shift.
Our shelter is 100% volunteer run and without dedicated volunteers, we cannot continue to service our small community. We only take in dogs at this time as our current space does not afford us the space to also house cats.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals. We provide immediate shelter and care for any homeless or abused animals and either reunite these animals with their owners or find them new, loving homes. We will actively promote animal and owner education, training, and public awareness to improve the lives of the animals in our community and beyond.
Description
The purpose of the FCRSPCA is to take care of any and all dogs which find themselves coming through its doors. Many dogs that enter FCRSPCA are just visiting - they are quickly reunited with their families after going on a grand adventure outside of the house. But for those whose owners never come, or for those who were not taken care of, the shelter is a place of love and healing until their forever homes are found. The shelter is so small we are often unable to take surrenders and we have no safe space for cats, although we help when we can when there an available foster.
We focus on the animals in need within our community and do not import dogs or puppies from out of state for adoption.
