Data drives everything we do at Best Friends Animal Society, and collecting shelter intake and outcome data is critical for saving animals' lives. It lets us know where animals need help and how we can best direct our resources to save the most lives. We're looking for Strategic Shelter Engagement volunteers to establish relationships with shelters to gather their animal intake and outcome data in January 2025. You can see more details about the role here: https://bit.ly/SSEv2 Strategic Shelter Engagement is one of the most impactful volunteer roles we have at Best Friends. To be successful in this position, you must be comfortable cold calling shelters and be persistent with significant follow up. Training is provided via online modules and recorded meetings. (Please note that due to legal reasons all of our volunteers must live in the USA!)
