Learn about becoming an ALP literacy tutor. We partner with 14 Title 1 schools in CMS and offer 1:1 tutoring in reading. We also have a virtual tutoring option. We will train you in two days. We ask for you to commit to 2 days a week of tutoring for 45 minutes - for at least 2 semesters of school.

The mission of the Augustine Literacy Project-Charlotte (ALP) is to improve the reading, writing, and spelling abilities of young aspiring readers.
Description
ALP trains and supports volunteer literacy tutors who provide free, long-term, one-on-one instruction with a research-based, multisensory approach. Tutors work primarily with 1st - 3rd graders at Title I schools.
