Providing safe and socially assited accompaniment for Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Older Adult Center members to destinations in their community, included but not limited to, errands and appointments. Neighborhood House Older Adults Center members being escorted are unable to travel independently due to mobility, vision, hearing, or cognitive impairments.
We’re seeking a kind and dependable volunteer to assist one of our clients on Thursday evenings from 5 PM to 6 PM. The role involves accompanying them via car service to their home in Harlem. Your support will not only ensure a safe trip but also provide meaningful companionship during the journey.

Description
Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was founded in 1894 by the Alumnae Association of Normal College (now known as Hunter College of the City University of New York) as a free kindergarten for the children of indigent immigrants. Since then, we have remained at the forefront of community advocacy and social and educational change.
