About Connect for Purpose:
Connect for Purpose (CFP) is dedicated to mobilizing talented professionals within the Muslim community to contribute their skills to meaningful projects. Through collaboration with nonprofit and community organizations, we aim to create pathways for progress and positive change.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to volunteer their skills to help CFP tell compelling stories, promote our mission, and engage our community. This is a unique opportunity to use your expertise to make a tangible impact while building your portfolio and contributing to meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for CFP’s initiatives, including promotional videos, project highlights, and social media clips.
• Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts and ensure alignment with CFP’s branding and messaging.
• Enhance video content with sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
• Adapt videos for different platforms, such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Manage deadlines and deliver high-quality content in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Passion for storytelling and video editing.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in visual composition.
• Experience with motion graphics, sound editing, and/or color grading is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
