PS 123 Mahalia Jackson is having their annual Winter Wonderland and Showcase event on December 18. There are two events that day and the descriptions are below. You are not required to attend both events. We are thankful for any support that you can give to our community that day. 1. Winter Wonderland (7:30 AM - 2:30 PM)
Description:
Join us for a festive, all-day celebration as our school transforms into a holiday paradise! Students, staff, and families will enjoy engaging activities, creative stations, and holiday-inspired snacks. This event fosters connection, creativity, and community.
Volunteer Details:
Volunteers are needed from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM to help with:
- Distributing items and food
- Setting up and breaking down tables and chairs
- Assisting with the flow of parents and students to designated areas
An evening fashion show and showcase for parents and families as a follow-up to the morning festivities. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 4:00 PM to assist with setup, event facilitation, and stage lighting (if you have the experience).
