Position Overview:
The Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering Teaching Assistant supports faculty in teaching courses focused on the principles and applications of tissue engineering, stem cell therapy, and regenerative technologies.
Location: Remote
Start Time: Jan 6, 2025
Time Commitment: 2 to 6 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Simulation Support: Assist in conducting virtual simulations of regenerative procedures, including 3D bioprinting and stem cell applications in tissue repair.
- Teaching Support: Lead online discussions, facilitate group activities, and assist with course materials on topics such as biomaterials, cell scaffolding, and organ regeneration.
- Grading: Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams, and maintain student records.
- Student Assistance: Provide clarification and support for students’ understanding of regenerative techniques, ethical considerations, and clinical applications.
- Resource Development: Help develop educational materials, including case studies, guides, and presentations on emerging technologies in regenerative medicine.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, or a related field; graduate students preferred.
- Strong understanding of tissue engineering principles, biomaterials, and clinical applications of regenerative medicine.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in regenerative medicine in an accessible manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
