Seeking friendly, energetic volunteers to serve as campground attendants, performing various duties required to facilitate operation of popular 90-site campground. Volunteers will perform some limited functions on computer during booth hours such as checking campers in/out, making on-site modifications, and accepting visitor fees (card payments only). Volunteers will also monitor activity in campground and communicate rules violations to Ranger staff as needed. Entrance booth hours will vary but will generally run late afternoon into evening for 3-4 hours per day, with Tuesdays off. Weekend and holiday work is required.
Campsite with picnic table, fire ring, lantern hook, and electric/sewer/water hookups will be provided. Applicants must provide their own self-contained camping units in good condition. Volunteers must provide minimum of 25 hours of service each week to qualify.
