Friends of North Creek Mission Statement: To maintain and improve the ecological function of North Creek Forest through Education, Stewardship and Conservation in perpetuity.
We are urgently seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join the Friends of North Creek Forest team. This critical role involves managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax and reporting obligations, and supporting our mission through effective financial planning. Join us in making a difference by ensuring the financial stability and integrity of Friends of North Creek Forest.
We are looking for someone who knows how to read a spreadsheet and can communicate about numbers in a way that's easy for others to understand. Responsibilities include attending monthly online Board meetings. Most of our board members commit 2-5 hours per week to FNCF activities such as meetings and events, but this can change depending on the time of the year. This position can be virtual but prefer to be local to our area.
If you are passionate about environmental conservation, stewardship and education and have the expertise to support our financial operations, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your resume and a brief cover letter explaining your interest and qualifications to:
